stevenwilson96 Posted December 5, 2015 Report Posted December 5, 2015 Hi my names Steven and I'm doing my first big build on my own. I already bought my amps. A skar audio sk 4500.1 for the sub, and a skar audio sk 85.4 for my mids and highs that I go with. I ordered a Fi Team 18" dual 2, no cooling because I read on their site that cooling makes the motor weaker. Mines gonna be daily played. Should I of went with cooling? How Hott will it get without cooling? I ordered the sub on Black Friday. Just don't wanna blow a 800 sub.
magillaru Posted December 5, 2015 Report Posted December 5, 2015 You must have skipped over this part: "If you are looking for a fart/burp only scenario for SPL we suggest that you do NOT get this option. " Singer Alternators Team Asshole #anothershittysingerbuild
LT.Smoke Posted December 5, 2015 Report Posted December 5, 2015 Cooling would definitely have been beneficial for daily use Team MaxRetribution Si Vis Pacem Parabellum Id rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6 Bowhunting- Life Begins and Ends at Full Draw Bowhunting Team Fatal Trajectory Hunt Team http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/49335-sick96vtecaccords-t-line-build/?hl=sick96vtecaccord << Accord Build http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/68498-smokedout08impalas-tline-build/?hl=+sick96vtecaccord << Impala T-line build Rebassed.com for all your music needs 👌
stevenwilson96 Posted December 5, 2015 Author Report Posted December 5, 2015 Would the cooling option handle the 4500 rms fine? Would you guys personally go with it then? I'm sure I can contact them and add cooling because I've read peoples changed options while having a order already placed.
Broke_Audio_Addict Posted December 5, 2015 Report Posted December 5, 2015 All the options were even free that day lol. should have got the cooling. That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.
audiofanaticz Posted December 5, 2015 Report Posted December 5, 2015 hmm subwoofer question in the general audio section when the site has a specific forum for subwoofers.. lock
