Picked up this sexy little amplifier off ebay last week, also got a D60-II coming. All my old shit that is near and dear to me :D It's ALL i ran back in the day. I was all about RF of course but i became a Soundstream guy when i got a taste of the early amps like the MC500, Class A 3.0, 6.0 etc. I LOVED anything Soundstream back in the day before they moved from my local area (Folsom CA) and ummm....changed their ways.


Anyhow, i looked up in my box-boneyard and saw my old D60-II amp box (the amp got stolen years ago). I jumped up on ebay and typed it in. Found it! Saw this one and got it too!


I have been working my ASS off designing, cutting etc on the CNC and i haven't had time for any YT video's. But i WILL put this on the Dyno soon! So long as it works that is. It lights up and is amazingly clean on the inside.



Not many amps this old can still look as good as a fucking SOUNDSTREAM amp of that era.

Any guesses on power output? I think 110 watts RMS

my favorite boards of all times are Classic Soundstream amps. I JUST got my D60ii about 5 minutes ago! Can't wait to post those pics too. I recieved it in a brown box with packing peanuts but UPSTAIRS in my box-boneyard, i have my old D60ii box with the original styrofoam and warranty info from Soundstream when they were in Folsom! I KNEW not to throw that fuckin' box out! CHEAAAAAAA :D

What was that internal switch for near the fuse?

it's bridged/stereo switch. We used to have to choose back in the day. Most of the SS amps back then had a high current switch too if you were running low impedance.
