Parts are showing up. Trigger and stock tomorrow. Titanium detent Thursday. Hen I can finish the lower. One thing I don't like is since the end plate is titanium it can't be staked. I'll have to do something else.

I have to say I'm very impressed with the fit off these receivers. I could get away without takedown pins I bet. Another cool thing is that the rear takedown pin hole for the detent and spring is threaded. Stick the detent in spring and then compress it and then bread the allen head screw in until flush. The bolt release that is prone to scratch inducing is also threaded. I've got some of the parts assembled but it kind of looks like I'm talking to myself. Total weight in feel is abo the same as my iPad mini for the combined upper and lower. With buffer tube and grip.

One thing I'm disappointed with is the mag catch and charging handle were ordered from v7 last week and still has not shipped. They are out of stock everywhere though but still no excuse.

Yes it does.

The castle nut actually has a hole drilled in it for applying some type of locking adhesive. As tight as the buffer tube is in the receiver I don't know if I'll have to worry about it but I'll still do it. As it sits right now my iPad mini is heavier than it

I just said fuck it and ordered the

2a Balios lite rail

T3 titanium compensator

Titanium gas block

And the 2a regulated carrier which is .6 lighter than I anticipated. The rail only has an ID of 1.3 inches so the gas blocks are severely limited so in order to get it to shoot light I had to go to the regulated carrier. Cost wise was about the same. I should have this together by next week.

I've got my pigs too. My 308 comes in at like 15 lbs lol. But when you're handing it to a five foot tall hundred pound chick she can't handle a nine lb rifle. Plus it was a challenge. I wanted to see just how light I can get it and be ready. I don't fuck with iron sights so if I can get a rig at less than five lbs with an optic and mag I wanted to try.

Little bit of bragging rights here. As I crawl the net looking for lightweight builds I've realized if I take the weight of the mro out of the picture I almost made four lbs with mro I'm slating this in as 4.713 lbs. without its 4.105lbs. It could be less as I rounded up for trigger and buffer configuration and gas tube.

It's the lightest I've seen without using the bullshit polymer lowers and parts.
