I had recently picked up the new Crescendo Audio Encore 4.5k amplifier a little before christmas time. Ive been using it to power a Orion HCCA 12 at 2 ohm. Ran great the two weeks of use ive had it! Until I heard a loud pop noise from the amplifier to which the amp just starts pouring out smoke. I contacted Crescendo and sent in my amp for warranty, being Ive only had it TWO WEEKS. Costed a good $60 to ship it down to Florida. two and a half weeks go by and have received an email or anything from them. I had to take the initative to contact them about it. Lucky the answered back saying they have replaced the blown and bulged output caps and that the amplifier is still broke after a week of working on it. In conclusion, I'm just giving my experience with Crescendo and their new products that may be useful for others. Any opinions on this matter are welcome.

Their customer service is just useless. I guess they have like 3 USA employed employees. i wont be buying any of there equipment ever. they tend to over promise and over sale and when it falls apart they blame china or customs on how they failed to have a product. good luck on your repair, but dont hold out hope Rest in peace, walled 87 accord build log 03' Corolla build with AA Mayhem inside.
