Jman9112
Hi, I've posted before about an amp choice, but haven't had any real luck solving my problem. I need an amp that will push 1600-1800rms at 2 ohm (mono). Budget: 300. Doesn't need to be top of the line, but I don't want garbage. Currently have an alpine 1000w, just not enough grunt to make these soundstreams dance. Thanks for any suggestions on amps! Ballin' on a budget. Jessica
So you want a real 3k amp for 300 bucks. Ask about banda, but don't say I didn't warn ya Rest in peace, walled 87 accord build log 03' Corolla build with AA Mayhem inside. My super random youtube channel and terrible camera work. Broke_Audio_Addict
Your best bet with that budget will be something used, even then it'll be a hard find. That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals. Wasteland_Audio
Power Acoustik BAMF-4000/1D. 165.99 at Sonic Electronix. I've actually had pretty good luck with Power Acoustik in the past, might be worth a try.

Jman9112
Ok, any good options open up at the $400 mark? Ballin' on a budget.
Skullz
While it may not pump out 1600w it will be a damn good amp for your needs and you most likely won't notice the loss of a few hundred watts. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Alpine-MRX-M110-X-Power-Series-1100-Watts-Monoblock-Class-D-Subwoofer-Amplifier-/201462857462?hash=item2ee81f3ef6:g:TWEAAOSwQoFWPU7X 01 Ford focus ZX3 Pioneer AVH-X491BHS PPI PC 4800.2 Morel Maximo 6.5" x2
