Lakeshow94 Posted February 1, 2016 Report Share Posted February 1, 2016 So I have a zapco z-3kd. I have 2 12" dual 1 ohm ct sounds meso subwoofers wired to 1 ohm currently. Subs could definitely take some more power, although I really don't want to spend another grand on a 4-5k. My electrical is a 240 amp singer alt, a group 24 northstar up front and a group 31 northstar in the back. If I were to add a second northstar group 31 do you think that would be good enough electrical to run that amp that low? That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals. Then I melted both boards down after about 7 months of play. I won't do that again. But man did I make some power.
