RyanRosier Posted February 22, 2016 Report Share Posted February 22, 2016 Anyone ever heard of DS18? We sell at the shop I recently joined onto, and their Trouble Maker line, only available in a 18. Boasts a 5,000 watt RMS rating. They also tell their max of 7,500 which I know isn't a number to go by but I'm saying at least this company rates their stuff in RMS. If anyone has some info, how does this company line up? Good stuff or Junk? 2003 Chevy Silverado Reg Cab. Rockford Fosgate 500a2 and Kicker ZR240 each on their own 12" Kicker Comp S. We don't carry these, but we carry the Genesis line of woofers that take 450 rms, a 10" goes for $100 on shop floor. But I think you can buy these all on amazon. I've shopped at this store for a long time but recently got hired on. It's looking like he carries crap like boss all the way to this and fosgate an other stuff. I did notice on their 9k amp they only had one set of amp input but I didn't see what size input. But even if it was a 2/0 they'd still need more correct? They were at world finals this year and have awesome products I don't know man their amps look pretty suspect too me and they claim some ridiculous numbers. That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.
