meade916
Look up how to tune an amp with a DMM on google, Then save up $150 and buy a DD-1 and tune it correct. no. You get an O-scope, learn how to use it properly. THEN once you understand how to use it, then get a DD-1. Learn how to use it RIGHT though. i seen one "popular" youtuber out there do a step by step tutorial using an o-scope to set gains and it was the most silly, bullshit video i have ever seen. And everyone was like WOW, nice job! LOL. Learn the PROPER o-scope procedures don't listen to just anyone on youtube either. Especially don't listen to anyone telling you how to set gains with a DMM. You can't do it. It won't work. All SMD products + MORE available at my store here! https://wccaraudio.com/ Subscribe to My Youtube Channel! Over 1,000,000 subscribers strong! You can't do it. It won't work. It would work if impedance stayed exactly the same at all times and distortion didn't exist at all. So yeah you're right it won't work. That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals. Your post is very hard to follow. I am not sure where anyone was making jokes about "someone being poor" or broke or on hard times. If you can't afford to set your gains with the proper tools then sure, go ahead, set it up wrong. When it smokes, be like every one else and blame the equipment. I don't care. I am just saying, the DMM will not work. If you think a dmm will work, you might as well just use your ear-o-meter and just guess. Same outcome. Bayuk89
Miguels believe it or not but my local best buy, frys electronics and custom sounds all tune by ear. When i got my amp i called all three asking how much they would charge to tune and what their procedure was. They all said we tune by ear so i hung up. I was lucky enough to find a guy on craigslist with a DD-1 and for $20 he tuned my amp... Wish more local big box store that sell JL rockford Alpine Infinity ECT used proper equipment for stereo instalation especialy when they charge peope thousands of dollars for an install. Bigwheelw
Lmfao I didn't realize this was such a sensitive subject. I was looking for a basic answer. Now I know there isn't one. Aside from the gain issue. What should I set the ssf, the lpf and the boost at?
