Broke_Audio_Addict
It's a pretty easy test to conduct. Next time you're wiring a sub for some one just lay all the wires out before you run them and hook everything up, then lay em right next to each other. You'll here the noise when they get closer together. That won't always hold true. you won't always have a problem, I've ran them both ways with no issues but sometimes you do and it's a situation that can be avoided from the beginning so why not just run them separate and never have to worry about if it will be an issue or not..... That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals. hdorre
I don't have any noise in my system though, and my RCAs and power wires are all over the place behind my box.RCAs with good shielding do wonders. Im guessing yours are good quality? I mention this because ive had to fix other installs that were a mess by the amps/box, due to introduced noise. Well I started out with Walmart generic RCAs, now I have RF I think. I haven't ever noticed noise though. I'm guessing there are a ton of factors and variables involved. Way too far over my head to understand though.
