Sunday and today i been listening to got 160's modified music with HU sub output set at -5 and volume 28-30 out of 35... Basicly 3/4 volume. Have about an hour of playing time total on them. Bayuk89 Posted May 3, 2016 Author Report Posted May 3, 2016 I dont have all the proper tools yets or alot of experience but here it is... A lil over 10 cubes net tuned to 31.5 hz with 122 sq inches of port. This is only like the 5th box i ever built (im pretty green) lots of things i should have / could have done different..
Broke_Audio_Addict Posted May 3, 2016 Report Posted May 3, 2016 No need to break subs in, let em have it. That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.
Bayuk89 Posted May 3, 2016 Author Report Posted May 3, 2016 I finished my build sunday and have been curious on "proper break in"Been curious on what? Curious on a break in period or procedure on sundown SA series or subs in general, some manufactures online have a procedure... Others dont have any. Play 3/4 volume for the rest of week to safe ?
Kyblack76 Posted May 3, 2016 Report Posted May 3, 2016 edit - yes play half music for a week. Then you can turn it up more. SMD SUPER SELLER The Burban Build Blazer Build sold Acura trunk build sold
