Broke_Audio_Addict
I agree with n8, a proper ported enclosure will benefit you more than anything else. A please do not buy peel and seal, it's pure garbage and will do no deadening at all. That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals. I've read a lot of great things about peel-n-seal (from people on this forum too!), and it seems extremely budget friendly. What about it don't you like? And what would you recommend as a substitute? anyone from this forum that recommends that shit should die of gonorrhea. I would recommend throwing your own shit on your panels for a budget beater to peal n seal. Cool platform. Loved my blazer build. Wish id kept it. Broke_Audio_Addict
Second skin, They have some pretty affordable options, The b stock 40lber's are a great deal, They also have some newer deals that come in flat rate boxes so you don't have to pay out the ass for shipping. Could you recommend alternatives then? It'll be my first time using deadener, so I'm not sure what to expect, and I'm sure I'll end up wasting some of it in the process of learning. I just don't want to spend $600 on deadener and then be dissapointed when the car sounds the same. peal and seal is not deadener, it's roofing tar. Broke_Audio_Addict
Fatmat is also nothing but roofing tar. You won't save money in the long run by using inferior products, They will not work effectively and you'll end up having to take and all out and clean up the huge mess it leaves behind and put real deadening on. Do it right the first time and you'll save yourself money and time.
