I paid a lawyer $550 and did all the paperwork and I have 1 more affidavit to sign then within 2 weeks it will be official. I haven't had to appear in court at all it was all done via email and getting papers notarized. My ex finally agreed to do an uncontested divorce which is why I am finally able to get it done... She kept saying she was going to fight me for stuff and it would've become a contested divorce and that jacks the price up tremendously... 2k was the cheapest constested divorce I found. Thank god she FINALLY agreed to just sign the papers and make it easy..
