Inkmob Vee Posted July 22, 2016 Report Posted July 22, 2016 Hey iv had some systems before but nothing major just too simple 12s...I'm looking to hit some hard base now... I'm thinking of 2 level 5 15s Subs I was wondering would it be enough to run to 5K DC amps one for each sub what do you guys recommend wood 2 Xs batteries be enough in the trunk and one under the hood I wanna run them at full potential was still safe if anyone can help me out here I'd appreciate it and thank you in advance Quote
WCA Rusty Posted July 23, 2016 Report Posted July 23, 2016 With 2 m4 Lv5 15s either a pair of 3.5s or a single 7.5 would run them fine, just make sure you have the alt and battery power for it and your good to go. If you want to be able to really push the limits of the subs then get the 5.0s. the 5.0s will make over 5000 watts each, just make sure there set super clean , the level 5 is a 3500 watt rms subwoofer Quote DC AUDIO Phone Number 1(855)SPL-DBZZ Built by Competitors, for Competitors.
zack_e89 Posted July 23, 2016 Report Posted July 23, 2016 DC has electrical recommendations for their amps on their site I believe Quote 97 Suburban 8 custom PSI Platform 3 18's
Inkmob Vee Posted July 23, 2016 Author Report Posted July 23, 2016 It was greatly appreciate it I'm going to check their site also another thing is I don't know if I should convert them to 1 ohm or just hook them both straight up to the amp positive to positive negative to negative I've been reading up on it but I'm still not a hundred percent sure I completely get it I don't no if I should get a 4 ohm or 2 ohm is there any difference in power Quote
Wehan Posted July 23, 2016 Report Posted July 23, 2016 The DC amps run full potential power at 1 ohm so see the diagrams and decide what you want to do. Quote
Inkmob Vee Posted July 23, 2016 Author Report Posted July 23, 2016 That's perfect! Thanks for the info Quote

Inkmob Vee Posted July 25, 2016 Author Report Posted July 25, 2016 For sure I've been reading up on that back in the say when I had a few systems I never ran 1/0awg and I never had extra batteries I never did The Big Three but I'm going to now I'm going to run an extra battery if not two extra batteries in the trunk and also a better amg under the hood Quote
Inkmob Vee Posted July 25, 2016 Author Report Posted July 25, 2016 I'm debating if I should run 1/0 or 2/0 any ideas or an advice ? Quote
