Wasteland_Audio Posted October 30, 2016 Report Posted October 30, 2016 Honestly it seems like putting 3000 watts worth of subs in a box with only 3/4" walls seems a little sketchy to me. I would double layer the entire box to make sure it's as solid as possible. There is no such thing as building a box that's too strong.

I have 1/2" thick threaded rod for bracing I plan to go through the port all the way out the side of the box. Also from top to bottom. I have a total of 8 washers and 8 nuts. With a 1.5" thick top baffle. I hope to got this sounds good..... I have never ever top mounted subs

If the box is 12.5 tall internally your net volume probably came out higher than intended.
