Not knocking the design at all Steve (how could i?) it's an awesome looking enclosure! Just a thought, from a material usage standpoint.

I would have done the bottom/port with the layered design then done the walls with rabbet joints & regular pieces of MDF.

Again, just putting my 0.02 in, love the box regardless

or, i could have just used a tube and regular pieces of mdf. Or i could have done it 10 other ways. This is how i decided to do it.

well i hope it sounds good...but you never know. These things tend to have a mind of their own sometimes and what seems good ain't always...and what seems wrong can be really good sometimes too

I'm very excited to hear how this sounds finished. I am looking to do a dual 8" or dual 10" setup in my car, and this box design is something that would work super well for my situation.

The CNC router makes easy work of those layers! I don't have a CNC router table, but I do have a bunch of MDF, a router and a jigsaw...

Well I don't know if my post are making it on here or not I try one more time as long Steve puts his designe in to the mix I Believe the box is going to sound good just make sure you let the neighbors know your going to do a sound test so when you hit them low there not thinking there under attack lol!
