Love the speaker diagrams with all the dimensions, ended up being a perfect replacement and should come real close to fitting everything i have fabricated up. Speakers have good specs and thought it was worth trying. Not to hard on the budget either. Oh i changed order for the 4 ohm models. Might be here before the new year. never heard of that brand. Never could get the stage and image out and up on the dash. Personally, I'd start out 2 way 5.25" driver and tweeter .... Tune from there. neuspeedescort Posted December 20, 2016 Report Share Posted December 20, 2016 that door panel would be easy to replicate and delete the map pocket. my factory door panels are some what the same design. you can go ham on a a fiberglass pod that is simple clean and audiophile pleasing. I have a 99 Toyota Tacoma and I will be doing 5.25 in the stock location with tweets in the door pillar. Might put a set of tweets in the A pillar also. I hope I am going the right way for a better sound. I am not going full SQ ( if there is such a thing as part SQ) but want better sound from the front stage.
