94 Suzuki Sidekick JLX (Daughters first vehicle, AGM & big 3 done)

So i ordered these to have on hand if i decide to go 3-way front stage. Started looking at Dayton drivers and ended up here. Love the speaker diagrams with all the dimensions, ended up being a perfect replacement and should come real close to fitting everything i have fabricated up. And if not i will have make more.

Faital PRO a Italian company. Speakers have good specs and thought it was worth trying. Not to hard on the budget either. Oh i changed order for the 4 ohm models. Might be here before the new year.

never heard of that brand. I know youll give your honest opinion!

So here's a good pic of driver door & dash. Gives an idea of what i am working with for location of midbass in the lower doors and midrange on the dash face. Tweeter location unknown yet.

I wish the map pocket wasn't there. Seen a pic where someone cut a radius out of map pocket and mounted 6.5 coax. Looked shitty.

See, i mean it worked but i wonder how well with the map pocket blocking 1/3rd of the driver?

I dont care for the amp being mounted on the rear door but cool to see someone tried a sub in the door.

I will have to ask the daughter if she would like me to put a small lift on the sidekick. Nothing to over board. I promise. lol

I tried tuning a Toyota 4-Runner with that same configuration (4" driver location). Never could get the stage and image out and up on the dash. Personally, I'd start out 2 way 5.25" driver and tweeter .... Tune from there.

Thank you for taking a look. I was afraid that was going to be the case.

Oh man this is from the man in SQ... Awesome. I have a 99 Toyota Tacoma and I will be doing 5.25 in the stock location with tweets in the door pillar. Might put a set of tweets in the A pillar also. I hope I am going the right way for a better sound. I am not going full SQ ( if there is such a thing as part SQ) but want better sound from the front stage.

Sorry to jack this thread a little. :)
