Keith77
What speaker set up?? 2way? 3way? Thats cool. Im way too old to be upset by shit like that. Your name is winston. Your own parents hated you even before you were born. My penis is bigger than your penis I'm far from loud and my roof/headliner flaps around like Adam's ass on a windy day. I think it depends more on the structure of the vehicle.
neuspeedescort
don't put anything in the center console. largest imaging fail i see. yes it's louder but that doesn't mean it sounds right.
jimdog32526
I have a Bronco, which is somewhat similar. I like the sub in the center of the rear open area firing right at my back. But I dont have a back seat, so that is just my preference. With a back seat it might be better firing up.

Rev. Wrath
I too am curious about this. I've been wondering if it's better to have midbass in the kick or door. All my research shows it to be about 50/50.
Ahmed Johnson
I don't know about the kicks, I have some crossfire door speakers all around and when I put an amp on them, the truck sounded terrible when the back door speakers was connected to an amp. I just let the front door speakers work on the amp now and I like it
WooWoo
Hey Guys. Wicks was asking on my behalf. I finally after all these years decided to join SMD. Tahoe is an 04 and I currently have an 80PRS, two 6.5" Silver Flutes per door and one AQ Soft Dome Tweeter per Pillar. The Tweet and One of the Two Silver Flutes are ran through a Focal KR2 Crossover on channels 1 and 2 of an Original DD C4. And then on channels 3 and 4 are the other Silver Flutes ran Actively. I'd like to remove all of this and run a "3 way" per say. I was thinking about doing two 6.5s per door similar to what I have now but obviously want Optimum staging and then doing a 3.5" full range and a tweet per A Pillar. Was thinking maybe a Dayton Neo 3.5" Full Range and a Vifa Tweet but not sold yet. I would probably be getting two Ampere Audio AA-150.4 Amps to run the front Stage. Yes I'm aware this is not real SQ but I'm going for as best of sound as possible and proper staging. So I'm more or less just looking for Ideas and feedback on how I should go about this. Thanks in advance!
