Most presidents average less that one every two weeks. New president act fast to reassure the electorate, they have the backing of the constitution.

The executive pen was necessary in case of an impass in the house or senate or an impass between the two. Presidents either get lazy or they know their agenda won't even make it to the floor.

Trump has Congress and the Senate. Same as Obama did. There is no need to pen so much shit when your party holds the MAJORITIES. Unless you know your ideas are premature, ill conceved, un popular, ilegal, impossible etc.

The fact that you stated your age or year of birth shows your arrogance and shows you think you are better than everyone else because you have been around longer.

Good try. It was a statement about the number of not smart people who think Obama somehow signed more orders etc than any other president. And since I was born, Obama had the least amount of orders and actions. People are hard to take seriously when they parrot lies.

Pointing out someone's blind love for a politician who, and it's not made up, he tweets it himself, is against the free market, freedom of speech, of the press and who LIES every time he he hits the airwaves.

Our conservitives used to be our guard against these cooperate welfare queens. I used to worry about over reaching socialist programs. Now I'm worried about a REPUBLICAN president spending trillions while cutting taxes on the rich. It's a recipe for disaster. 

He DID come up with a way to get some cash for that wall though. By cutting first time buyers tax breaks for the middle class. It was one of the first things he did. Imagine, he figured out how to stop paying taxes and now wants to make blue collar people cover the loss...

Airborne, you might wanna do a bit more research on what an executive order is and what they are/were written for. A large portion of them or for, in my opinion, minor issues and changes. Comparing a tally of who penned more really has no bearing, as it's the content of the orders, not the number of them that really matters. Another thing I feel needs to be pointed out, Nobama pushed several orders that expanded the reach and power of executive orders, which essentially handed Stumped the keys to the candy store. I can only imagine Barack never thought someone like Donald would become his sucessor,  but I feel that it was very short sighted of him and his and his administration.

Nah, someone brought up barrack and his none existent abuse of the pen. I lined out MY measure of excess is all. And since I have a problem with almost EVERY use of said pen I am super critical. Obama had no business circumventing congress on immigration and you see how that panned out. 

These things need to be debated on the floor of congress. The president needs someone else to grade there work before they turn it in. 

It's not different this time just because YOUR guy has the throne. I didn't have a voice when Obama was elected. I had plenty of problems with everything he did but open decent in the military is not only frowned upon but it's ILEGAL. Obama spilt his milk so crying now would sound like everyone who blamed everything on Bush.

The task at hand is holding the new guy accountable. Who cares what letter he has at the end of his title. An "R" doesn't mean conservative anymore. Too many people think they are getting a real Republican and they are excusing everything they hated about Obama at the same time.

Blind loyalty is dumb. Backing a guy because they are part of your gang is dumb. Backing a fucking political party, no matter how hard they are about to fuck us is dumb. The Democrats learned the hard way, I hope the republicans come around quicker and hold his feet to the fire when it comes to being an actual Republican with the NATION'S best interests in mind and not those of the people who like him...
