i dont have any problems with my with my 4 channel or speakers but it is not as loud as i was thinking but although my gains are not properly set atm, but all that aside

my question is my 4 channel amp says this  https://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_67853_MB-Quart-OA800.4-Exclusive-Sonic-Electronix-Amplifier.html

4 ohms: 100 watts x 4 chan.

2 ohms: 200 watts x 4 chan.

and i have just one comp set in each front door and 1 per channel https://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_64191_Kicker-CSS67-40CSS674.html

and i have one coaxial one eack side in the rear 1 per channel https://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_76274_Kicker-KSC410-41KSC4104.html

so i have it running at 4chx4ohms?

what im curious is can i get 2 ohm 200w x 4 channels from this configuration and if so how would i wire this

It's probably better to keep those speakers wired to 4ohm so that it sounds better. I wouldn't bridge it to 2 ohm for component speakers.

and i know i will have the guy thats going to tell me i should have just invested more money and purchased better amp and higher output speakers but i was already over budget by 4-500$ on the same basis of changing original plans in worry of cutting corners and re doing things

and the stuff i have sounds fine but i was just curious a simple way i was over looking that could take full potential of my current equipment

Your best bet in increasing output is to ditch the coax's and run those comps on the amp bridged, they're rated for 125w cont, now i have not run kickers before so i really do not know how well they take power over rated or how well they sound over powered, but most everything i have ever owned, i have given them 150% what was recommended. Most speakers are capable of taking far more power than is rated providing it is clean undistorted power.

If ur headunit has a built in amp. U could go active. Ditch the passive crossovers, run ur rearfill off the deck, ur comps as a two-way active front stage. This route would take way more tuning tho, and attention to detail. If ur comps are 100rms per side. Thats 100 for left side mid AND tweet. Maybe 80/20rms? 75/25? Something like that. So you would maybe have keep the amp gain lower than its supposed to be.

Also you could instead, run the tweets off the deck, and ur 4mids ranges off the 4chan amp. But id rather have the front stage on the amp.

Those kicker comps sensitivity is kind of low also, 90db, maybe thats why u feel its not too loud.

yea i dont even know if i will have a problem but if it is not loud enough i might just do this and get better comps and run the coaxial off the h/u but i will have to wait awhile maybe a month or 2

but im hoping it will be loud enough to hear over the bass cause im tired of messing with stuff im ready to just be done and enjoy my build

You check out the CT sounds meso comps? $70 on their site, original price $500. Not sure how they perform, i couldnt find much t/s parameters on the site, besides just a basic description. They look awesome tho and im sure if u ask around here, someone can share their experience theyve had with'em. Also there amps look pretty bad ass, with that clear bottoms so u can fully see the guts. If was doing a budget build id ask around and probably give them a shot. Just pick up all discounted equipment.
