Im not ready to do this?

No you're not !

Try to learn some more before anything.

If you have to ask those questions, you're really not ready.

Don't do it !

What is your goal with so much power ? Are you sure you need that ? 18 volts in a car is not usual.

black BMW X1 2.0 l 192 hp

OEM head unit, Amplifiers Audison AP 8.9 amp with integrated DSP and Ampere Audio 1200.

Focal ES 100 K in front doors, and Dayton RS 180 for midbass under the front seats.

2 SSA DEMONS 10" subs, in a 2.6 ft3  ported box. SecondSkin Damplifier on front doors, and Luxury Liner Pro for the cargo area.

I will be running (5) 15" subs at 3,000 watts rms per sub. All I'm trying to do is verify some information. I'm looking at running 3 xs power xp1000 16v batteries in parallel to (3) 50k farad capacitors, then each capacitor will go to its own input on the amp. It will all be powered off of a dedicated 370amp mechman alternator.

Hey Ramon in the 615 do yourself a favor and don't get offended when somebody is giving you advice on a topic you want to discuss. I thought the same thing when reading your post based on your question you are not grasping much about electricity.  Notorius is giving you some really sound advice.

So you plan on two separate charging systems?  Some vehicles don't like to be run at 18v (16 volt system charging at 18v).  Does Mechman make a 370 16v alternator?  What do you already have of all this gear?  What vehicle?

If your amp runs at 18 k why u wanna run 24 volt battery.

Fuck bro I could sell you a couple batteries from the rig that run at 24 volts and charge off  240 amp alternator but that would be stupid cuz those Batts are huge and you'd need new suspension for that shit.  U could also take some  6v golf cart batteries. Take 3 of them and run them in series for 18 volts. That would be less stupid.

I thought if u had good alt. Good Batts. And good wiring you don't need a capacitor. Isn't that for Honda Civic who's lights dim when the bass hits?
