Team Bassick - Kimo Posted April 28, 2008 Report Share Posted April 28, 2008 Well today was the day we kicked off the SPL MAX CUP at the db drag show. It was a long day full of BASS!!!!!!! Well I had to go by Steve's to return a tool we borrowed. So I rolled up to Steve's with my little truckie bumping some music, not to crazy because why piss off Steve's neighbors (He does that enough on his own). So I shut down my truck and got out just to hear music playing. Sure enough, Steve and David were playing in the Hoopty. So I walked in and Steve was playing I believe it was Pantera(Steve correct me). OMFG!!!!!!!! That thing was slammin!!!!!! and I'm not talking about the BASS. The doors are just beautifully accurate. You would think with all them speakers it would just kill your ears. However, its been my experience, CLEAN loud music doesn't hurt your ears as much a distorted music. Oh and when the BASS did kick in I swear it felt like a wall of 10's in a sealed box, thats how tight those 18's were kicking. Not to disrespect any of my fellow competitors. DUDE CHICKEN, DAVID AND I AGREE, WITH OUR EARS COMING FRESH FROM A SOUND-OFF, IT WAS BY FAR THE LOUDEST AND CLEANIST SYSTEM WE HEARD ALL DAY!!!!!!!!! Oh yeah and I was the 3rd person to hear this thing, the other two were obviously Steve and David. I also played a few tracks different from the one i made the video of and he is right, it does sound like a wall of 10's as far as rock-bass-tightness. Not bad for a low end monster that was made for mainly rap music and thundorous bass lines not kick drums. It does kick drums VERY well, i was surprised! Thanks for the props!!
