Floors done with damp pro (this pic wasnt the end of applying damppro, but almost), still need to lay all the front to back wires like the speaker wires, rcas, headunit harness pwr/gnd/turn on, 4/0 charge wire and ground both ran from alternator to rear battery (stock location). Then i can start laying luxury liner.

Removed the healiner to apply a couple layers of damp pro and then heatwave pro. They wouldnt ship me the adhesive spray to install heatwavepro because the shippers wont allow it on the planes because its explosive i guess, so i had to use the second skin acrylic adhesive tape, it was a pain lol smh. I couldve got something at lowes or something but i dont know whats the high quality ones that will be safe for interior areas and heat resistant.

Rear roof section, couple layers.

Front roof section a few layers. Then applied second skin double sided acrylic tape. Tried to get as much coverage with the tape as possible somthe heatwave is secure.

Good news bad news.

Good news, door boot molex has a huge empty slot on the upper portion of the molex connector, perfect to pass thick wires through.

TIP: use a pick tool or 90degree bent torx T15 key or small 90degree bent allen key to press in the side securing tabs to remove the molex. That way u can reapply the rubber boot completly and avoid anything getting inside the boot if it wasnt flush against the metal.

Bad news, the emergency parking brake is bolted to the footwells side panel, directly covering the access hole to the door molex .

Finally got access to molex.

Nice work, bro.

You sure you havent done this shit before?

Thanks man, thats always a huge compliment when people think i have prior experience. No experience before i joined this forum couple years ago. I have installed one radio before in my brothers 95 sonoma, but all i used was twist caps to connect the harness to the stock wires lol, it worked.

This build log took almost a year (May makes a year) for me to update it. So that kinna shows i havent done it before, takes me FOREVER to do things lol. I spent almost 3 hours trying to solder on and create some speaker leads the other night for the Rams build and thats was for just ONE SPEAKER ? I was up till 3:45 am just to do both L2SE speakers.

Patience is and my perfectionist habits help me do decent work.

Nothing wrong with taking however long you feel comfortable doing a task. You know its done right and won't have to waste time or money redoing things. Plus your not on the clock getting paid so why rush. Doing a killer job at everything, not to mention 2 builds at the same time with amazing equipment.
