Will they survive??

I have 2 old school round 25 anniversary kicker solo  S15d's  2 ohm svc's rated 750 watts and just bought Skar RP1500.1d not sure if they will make it. I actually have a third one but the amp isn't rated for it.. what do you think?

I say go for it. I ran a pair of Kicker c15 in an 8 cubic foot box sealed back in the day. (Early 90s) On a Fosgate Punch 200 bridged. Still one of the best sounding setups I have had. I had to run a tape deck because the bass would make a cd skip. lol If you consider the impedance rise, the subs won't see the full power of the amp anyways so it should be safe. Are you going ported or sealed?

If they are truely old is the surround still good or starting to get dry rotted?

 

I think coil wise you'll be able to make it no problem but I don't know mechanically what shape they are in

I'm gonna run them at 1ohm. They are lake new they were a display for a kicker dealer only been used for about six months they are still pretty clean no damage or rot look like new I've had them for about 10 years. And there in three separate sealed box at 1.5 cube off the factory spread sheet I would like to run the third but I don't want to hurt my new amp.. I have a clerion CZ-702 head unit, and a clerion eq that I will be using so it should have good supply I'm not sure how many extra batteries it will need any suggestions?  I was trying to download a pic but it won't let me so there's not enough storage

Any help would be appreciated the 15-inch solos are working okay but I don't want to destroy them so I'm looking for something a little more beefy I was looking into Subs what I've came up with at this point was to skar audio MA8s or two VVX8s or one VVX10. ANY IDEAS ON WHICH WOULD BE BETTER THE 110 OR 2/8 BEAR IN MIND IT IS A LITTLE HYUNDAI ELANTRA AND DON'T WANT TO GO TO RADICAL JUST SOMETHING THAT WALL HOLD UP TO ANY FORM OF MUSIC AND HAVE GOOD RELIABILITY AND STRONG BASS THANKS FOR ANY HELP MUCH APPRECIATED..

They did survive quite well still playing but I've replaced them with 2 skar audio evl 12 currently trying to design a enclosure for them but the 15s loved every minute of that skar RP 1500 amp actually spoke with Big D Wiz he's a big fan of those subs but he said he has no use for them right now I'm thinking of building a home stereo with them so just putting in an update thanks everyone..

Maybe I'm misunderstanding but it sounds to me like you are trying to get louder on the same amp with smaller subs?
