ChevyBoy95
All depends on the set up. There are guys who have done well above that on headunit power (like 20w). My old flat wall would do a 150 on 1kw, buuuut ,that was after rise, was on a 4kw amp Best Score to Date : 160.5 dB Outlaw (47Hz)[4 XM 15's & 2 Taramps Bass 12k's] BL : http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/147800-chevyboy95s-4-15s-7krms-wall-1533-db-on-half-power/YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/hitemwiththeflex/
sTp
Well i am trying to do a 150 off my current set up before i put my 6k on i was just wondering if it had been done on a 1000 watt rms amp for any one that is interested here a link to what i did at my local event Here is what they said Another Newbie Stuart has just scraped into the top 10 Loudest Streetbassers - Hitting 128.01dB and not only that he`s only using 2x 15"s with 1000wrms of power and he`s very nearly hitting a 150dB!!! WALLED:1: 152.66dB - Robin 2: 151.97dB - John3: 149.66dB - Stuart4: 147.84dB - Reg That will be an official UK first in MySPL or (((pd))) if he hits 150dB with only 1000wrms. I`m pretty sure no one has officially done that score with so little power. I am competing this Saturday and hope to hit the 150db.

sTp
So for anyone that was interested i just got back from competing in a event called Propper Droppers for the some of you who don't know it's where you test 4 frequencies 40hz, 33hz, 25hz, and 20hz. I managed to hit my 150 on 1000 watts here was my scores 40hz = 149.45 33hz = 150.45 25hz = 147.04 20hz = 142.34. I was told that i am the first in the UK to hit a 150 in this style of metering so i am really happy my friend took a video of the event when he gets round to editing it as it had other people's cars in it i will post it up.
