ckeeler11
I dont know alot about PR's but wouldn't you exceed the mechanical limits of those little things?

It was more of a thought experiment than a serious idea but yeah it would probably tear them up. I did some quick math and figured i could only get 20 of them to fit the three sides. ShadeTreeMechanic
That would be cool! Tuned in for pictures. It looks like two 12" PR would fit on the front of the box. Back in the day I had two 12s in separate sealed boxes with an 8" PR in each box. The small PR seemed to give more upper bass, but they were just cheap junk and ended up tearing the surrounds. I made some boards to block off the holes and went back sealed. lol 91 C350 Centurion conversion ( Four Door One Ton Bronco) 250A Alternator (Second Alternator Coming Soon) G65 AGM Up Front / Two G31 AGM in Back Pioneer 80PRS CT Sounds AT125.2 / CT Sounds 6.5 Strato Pro component Front Stage CT Sounds AT125.2 / Lanzar Pro 8" coax w/compression horn tweeter Rear Fill FSD 5000D 1/2 ohm (SoundQubed 7k Coming Soon) Two HDS315 Four Qubes Each 34hz (Two HDC3.118 and New Box Coming Soon)
Markous
So . . . if the scaling down idea actually works. (2-15's, 4-12's, 8-10's, 16-8's, 32-6.5's. ) I WOULD HAVE ROOM FOR THEM ALL!!! it would look like swiss cheese and it would mean using the sides, front, top & bottom but i drew it out and wouldn't ya know it! LOL! All the panels are drawn using internal dimensions of the exisitng box and scaled from inches to centimetre's I would have to built it with at least a minimum of 1.5" wood to have some structural integrity. Markous
OK . . . . . i think this is a message from the universe trying to tell me something, LOL! 32 - Dayton Audio SD175-PR 6-1/2" passive radiator's from Parts Express would cost $419.20 2 - PSI 15" High Excursion passive radiators direct from them would be $400 That's not including shipping to the great white north. It would be an expensive experiment though '07 Ford Ranger - DM-608 I E700.4 I SA-CX6.5 v2 I SAZ-1500D 15th (x2) I Zv6 12" D1 I SB500-34 I JP40 I On 5/21/2015 at 7:07 PM, boom50cal said: of course he gives no fucks. it's a ford ranger. only bad mother fuckers drive ford rangers

Markous
Yeah that's what i'll more than likely do. The 6.5 thing is more of a fun thought experiment than anything. You should be good to go with two PSI high excursion 15" PRs. Markous
Yeah, with only 9mm xmax they wouldn't cut it. Be fun for a few minutes though LOL! Markous
Wondering what the best way to tune them would be? I'd pick up a IM/SG for helping me and i guess i could invert them to start and make up the displacement difference with some 2x4's inside the box temporarily then flip them around when i hit the number i want? Sound about right? Or is there a way (without T/S #'s from the active) to do it on paper?
