mobilehomeguy Posted April 8, 2018 Report Posted April 8, 2018 I have a CT sounds 10 with dual 2 ohm voice coils.i checked the coils with my meter and they both check out for continuity and both read 1.8 ohms.when I hook the sub up to my amp,I get no output at all.need suggestions

Kyblack76 Posted April 8, 2018 Report Posted April 8, 2018 Keep using that meter. Play some music or a tone, and see if you have voltage coming out of the board. If you do, check things like (if the amplifier has one) the slave/master switch. Obviously, select master. shizzzon Posted April 8, 2018 Report Posted April 8, 2018 measure the resistance of each coil at the terminals of the sub with it disconnected from the amp and not connected to each terminal.
