bkolfo4
I did not check the box calculations, but I can tell you it takes a lot of hard playing on those subs to get them sounding good. Man they are stiff out of the box. Current system: 1997 Blazer - (4) Customer Fi NEO subs with (8) American Bass Elite 2800.1s Previous systems: 2000 Suburban - (4) BTL 15's and (4) IA 40.1's = 157.7 dB at 37 Hz. 1992 Astro Van - (6) BTL 15's and (6) IA 40.1's = 159.7 dB at 43 Hz. greg662
I talked to the guy that built the box and he says the Fb is at 37Hz with a peak roll off at 41.5Hz he said he built it for high SPL and not a daily driver box and is rebuilding me another one. So i guess this is my real problem along with the sub not broke in Thanks for all the input 2 15" DC LVL 5' crescendo 5500 yellow top under the hood and two xs power d3100 Big three upgrade Rockford Fosgate T162S components in front Rockford Fosgate T152 in the back Dynamat everywhere

Question for you though. What is your gain set at now? Have you seen the rms voltage chart exposport has on his sig? I used that chart and jlaudio's directions on how to set amplifiers to the right gain setting and it works great. Granted, there is no way to tell if something is clipping without an o-scope, but using the procedure that jl audio says to use to set the output voltage on the amp, it works great for me. check it out!!! setting gains too high only adds to distortion and destruction of equipment. But congrats on your score and placing!!! Loud as f*ck, and sounds good doing it. Team built from here on out!!!! BIG things to come......... Missing link is the shite!!!
