The coil is still a good distance away from the back plate.So by adding the epoxy it wont lock up the suspension? No, the epoxy will just keep it from pulling your spiders off when it does Obvious an 8" driver with a relatively small spider will eventually run out of travel - and with a strong motor it can hurt something. Im gonna be usin these for mostly metal and wanted the tight sound. there made to fit in the space behind the front seats so there is a smaller chamber inside. TESTING TONIGHT! I was trying to snug fit the box up against the console without crushing it so modding it, test fit, cuttin a little more, test fit and so on. then this happens.....guess where the box is????!!!!! ok I hear it letting up so back in a few with hopefully some progress.
