not talking about how much power..im asking would you consider the crunch to put out clean power like the sundown does?

The sundown has better sound quality alot of ppl say the crunch puts out the power just doesn't sound all that great.

The 3 gp3000ds I have put out some nice clean power. Ive used alot of different amps over the past few years, and these amps truly shocked me for thier price. I have been nothing but happy, and have worked them pretty hard without any problems

NO these amps do not share the same board. They have some similarities when you compare the internals of the amps, but they are two completely different amps. The only thing that they may share in common is being made in Korea.

if they are not at least based off the same board how come they look about 99% the same.

the sundown 3k and crunch 3k do look almost the same, but im sure the qualitty of parts used in each amp are far from the same...obviously the sundown is better, but i mean come on, the crunch does over 3k, for 450 shipped new???? alot of people using the crunch are SPL guys anyways, where SQ isnt a big matter. IMO if you're running 3kw, you shouldnt even be considering "good SQ" becuase a true SQ system i highly doubt would consist of 3,000w rms.....if i had the money id run the sundowns, but i dont, so im gonna get 2 crunch gp's..when they're in stock that is :)

regardless of them being cheap amps or not, with a good line driver, good rcas and feeding that amp(s) plenty of juice ........... anything will sound good. $450 for 3000rms is a kill

No, they don't.

tell them jacob..people just dont want to understand comparing crunch to sundown3k is like comparing a ford probe to a vette z-r1..not to mention its not all about quantity..its also quality..which is why we have 3 kinds of gas regular/midgrade/premium..sure regular will create a spark and get your car moving but its dirty..
