also, everyone needs their "first" number....now you have a reference point.  Trust me unless your buddies with someone thats "been there, done that", your first number will almost NEVER be a 150 on the new mic.  Of course i know how to do it and if your a noob with cash, i can have your first number be that  >

Seriously though, everyone i ever met thinks they gotta 150 in the trunk but the truth is that even the hardest hitting street systems i see on the daily wouldnt break 140.  Unless they have competed and fully understand DB's.....which they almost NEVER do. So dont feel bad

I dont feel bad anymore. Im just gonna learn some more and break that 140 next month with the same stuff. I dont have alot of room without loosing my rear seat, But Ill do it.

at the DB Drag i went to i hit a 141.7 with 2 T112d2s...i was only running 300 watts RMS to each. i played a sweep.

oh yea...its not a SPL box or anything...purely daily driver

i dont think its a bad number for stock alt, stock bat, 600 RMS, 4 ga wire and a sweep that went low to high.

i think now im at least hitting a 144 with my upgrades (yellow top, 2 ga wire, kinetik 600, better H/U with higher pre outs)

thats not that bad of a number considering its a trunk car and isnt the box basically sealed off from the cabin?

well i showed up later and was there for like 10 minuted. my 2 12" xplods on some generic amps metered a 138 in my expedition bwahahahaha

one thing I have noticed with all the 150 stock trunk setups in SA is they all use bandpass boxes, apparentlly they work quite well in trunks

Something might be wrong with this guys setup.

I have a T3002 running my T110D2 (in a Qlogic type 5 box) the amp also runs my 4 punch coaxials.

I have it all in a 2005 Cavalier and I hit 136.8...

I would imagine 2 T112's to hit a lot harder than what you are getting...
