Ole Lady Has A Virus, But Not From Me !

Recommended Posts

well im on my pc because the ole lady was on some crap for myspace backgrounds and a pop up came up on the screen and it automaticly downloaded a anti virus program but she totlay lost control of the pc, and now when you turn the pc on it will turn on and go to desktop but as soon as the desktop comes up the antivirus thing pops up and takes all control of the pc, if you click on anything it will just cause a auto matic reboot, and if you leave it alone it will still do a auto reboot within 15-20 seconds of boot up. any way i can download a program to boot her pc from to over ride the hijacker program and remove it?

or anyone know how i can remove it, i have tried to be fast at start up and go to msconfig, but as soon as i click on disable all start up it shuts off , and the disable all start up didnt process, and i cant click fast enough to get to the built in microsoft system restore... <_<

you need to put the hard drive in another computer as a slave drive, scan that bish with an anti virus, and go from there about removing it

Subs are like titties, They need to come in pairs because ones and threes are just wrong, and larger amounts will always draw a crowd, we all have our favorite sizes, but the bigger ones are more fun to watch move. :D

as already said safe mode then msconfig. it will work, every windows xp machine on the planet has f8 as advanced boot options, just hold it down if you have to

Although holding it too early will likely cause a keyboard error at boot. Tapping it after you see the bios screen should work.
