How Many People Have Hade To Stop Driving There Regular Daily Vehicle Because Of Gas Prices?

The only vehicle I own is a 1988 Chevy K3500 with the 350 in it.

Our gas just went to 3.95 a gallon for regular and I get 10 miles to the gallon.

I now have to stop driving my truck becuase of gas prices. $80 to $130 aweek.

Luckily I can borrow a car till I can save up the money to go get a 4 cylinder beater car.

I think this is kinda fucked up.

My truck is very reliable.

I really need it for some of the jobs I do. But I don't always get the money back from some jobs to cover the gas bill.

And I really love my beatup pickup and think I shouldn't have to give up driving it.

I'm out of thoughts on what I can do to keep my truck on the road.

put a v6 in it? My brother is having the same problems his caddy only gets 12 miles to the gallon so he is selling to get a GSX

But 4 banger I just picked up a Honda civic 90 str8 beater but it gos 300 miles for 45 bucks

After I wall it ill most likly only be getting 250 miles for a full tank but that's still with in resone

I know my gas is costing 600 or more a month. I did the math and buying a motorcycle will save 400 a month if I drive my tahoe just when I need it and weekends.

man im tired of gas. everytime i go somewhere i feel guilty cause my parents pay for gas. i mean i would pay it but then i could never go anywhere including skool.

also my dad did some calculations and figured out its better to keep our truck and his buick (paying insurance on both) than to just drive the truck around.

when will it end?

Count me in on this one. My rig is parked and my commuter is the motorcycle. Fuel for me went from $80+ a week to about $12-$15 a week.

It almost sucks being home, it was nice travelling and letting work pay for it all

parked the dually and only use it when I really have too.(tow the boat,get wood,etc..)but going on 3wks on the same half tank.

I was watching some shit on tv and this tool says diesel fuel is more expensive than reg gas because the refineries arent bigg enough. at billoins of profit per quarter, go fuckin build some...

how come we in the US cant have a diesel cars and trucks like they have overseas?I would drive a helux 4 dr 4x4 diesel.
