Which Setup Is Louder?

Recommended Posts

right now i have 2 12" alpine type E subs running at 500 watts RMS on a kenwood kac-8104d amp. If i got 1 12" alpine type R and ran that at 500 watts RMS would that be louder than the type E's?

Well my type E's are loud but im looking for a little bit more. I dont really want to go over 500 watts though cause i don't have time or money to upgrade my alt, use 0 gauge wire and get another battery. what about the RF P2's???

I dont think you will need all those upgrades for over 500 watts rms. I think you could probably get almost 1000 watts out of the stock electrical with just the Big 3. Unless you know something wrong about your electrical system that we dont.

Current Setup:

Factory HU with LOC

mids/highs-Insignia components

Sub- E8 in bass tube

Subs - 2 RE SE 15's

Sub Amps - 2xSAE-1200D
