....really I had no idea if he wants a flatter response curve go with a 4th order bandpass so that 25hz is as loud as say 60hz instead of having peaky frequencies...

play lows better? lol i was in parkville today and did a 142.5 on new termlab messing around at 28 hz. since i was the only one there at the db drag racing for street stock b, and did that on only 1500rms

So when you say hit all the notes what do you mean??? play the lows? flatter response curve or what? your definition is so vague no one can really help you until you tell them what you truly mean.

i want a enclosure that is flat and responsive that can hit high frequencies as well as lows and play music good and responsive and can still get down and loud when need be

IMO 6th order if you want to play high and low AND still be loud.

Do it like the UK guys on here... big rear section, tune it low as, small front section tuned high, play the low notes through the front of the box.

You're going to have a hell of a time building a box that handles the mad lows (sub 30hz) and still gets loud on highs (60hz up) if you just want to go ported. Your best bet would be to tune low and try to prop up the low frequency roll-off with the box's peak so you get basically a flat response with a bit of low-end extension from the peak... but it won't be very loud (respectively) and will require a LONG LONG port... almost getting into T-Line area, which is another design you should consider
