newls1 Posted July 5, 2008 Report Posted July 5, 2008 I have decided to keep my 2 18" Fi BL's in the boxes they shipped in on the floor in my computer room as this is a safe place until the AMP comes, batts come, etc... In this room we also have a 32" CRT style tube TV (you know, the big heavy fuckers) The room measures 13x11, and no matter where I place these subs, my TV has the rainbow effect on the screen Are the magnets really this strong? For shits and giggles, I removed them, and the rainbow effect is gone, so I decided to place other subs in the room to compair magnet strength, so I placed my 3 MMATS P2.5 12's in the room in the original MMATS boxes, and the TV DOES NOT have the rainbow effect! I cant believe how strong the magnets are on the Fi BL's!!!! Anyone else experience this? I love my staffie So anti FACEBOOK it isn't even funny

But for real, that can and will wreck your tv if done to it for long.. Then you will have to find a tv shop that can demagnatize your screen. Sometimes tho if you leave your tv off for a little while it will fix it.

Take a small Neodymium, or ring magnet, and place it on the side of the T.V. with which ever pole makes the picture look worse. Then just pull the magnet away. BigPimpin91's Banging Music
