i like using alot, i wanna know for a fact that its air tight, and if that little bit of extra caulk is what it takes, then ill stick to it, i wanna know it down in the crack, and on the sides (that whole sentence sounded wrong, but you get the idea)

drill the pilot holes deeper and try to stay away from the corners so it doesnt split like it did. all the screw is doing is holding it in place while the glue drys.

I use bondo to fill my counter sink holes.

I used to do that..but I'm moving towards the home made wood filler just cust it's quicker/easier/CHEAPER.

That and I have a BUNCH of sawdust saved up for it.

Wood glue+mdf dust. works great.

which is exactly why i did it but i got flamed for it :(

oh well. :D

looks goo though and to chris.. i tried the mdf paste and i didnt like it to much. i would just rather spend the little $5 more to get the quart of wood filler that elmers has and be done with it than having to mix up wood glue and MDF dust. wood glue costs monedy too :D and i even started dipping my screws in it before i put it in so that way all i had to do was smooth it over the top of the screw when i got through.

i was angry with the mid, his car fits 6.5's so thats why i got those, 1 the basket would not clear the surrounding hole for the door, and two the part that did clear hit the window...so it went this way, i like this way better though..nice to see the mid movin..:)

the box..:) double baffle front (not necesary, but if he wants to add a stronger sub later he can...i added that last night) the amp isnt like that anymore either, we built a lil rack for it but you cant see it so no need to take a picture

this last one i took on my way to the hardware store, a lil double beat bass drum got the better of the hulk...:(

btw the first pic...all the gouges are not from me!! he had a nice jl and alpine system before but it all got stolen

no the magnet hits on the window (so you cant roll it down) and the basket hits on the stock cut out, i could have cut it bigger, but dosnt do much when he cant roll down his window
