i like usaci street beat i think it is, it goes by subs cone area and the starts different though bass race is kinda fun too, On a deathmatch 5 min wow I wouldn't want to try, 2 min is a long time though, Defintely a lot more work for a system for 30 seconds.....

1 min is my vote

I honestly liked the BofB just for the fact they did rate you based on cost of equipment, db per $$

I competed 1st run got 6th out of 20/21 people just for the fact I had 1 reconed Kove Armegedon and a $100 crunch amp, in a huge tline crammed in the back of my ford Aspire... My total cost of sub/amps was only $550-600- and I had a 2/3 db handicap for not having door panels, the seond run I took off and went to go pick up my step daughter from work, then jumped all the way back to 20th place because I didnt show up for round 2

lol but boy it felt good to se me at 6th for that first run

I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy.

No matter what you work up for classes, there will always be people that don't like the format.

No matter the format there needs to be a few things.

1 A return on investment for the shop hosting the show.

2 Newbies and more newbies

3 Spectators

A shop needs to get their clients out to a show with their new system, their new system needs to be in a class with like newbies.

I agree we cant please everyone, but we'll try and please the majority.

1. I agree with this statement, especially if we want to have alot of shows, its gotta be worth it to the shop hosting the event.

but how do you do that, I mean you cant make your competitors buy from the shops, so how do you do that? any suggestions?

2. the only way to get new people is to ACTUALLY PROMOTE the show, and Be fair.

3. if everyone is made to play music only, with the windows down, it should in theory draw spectators, also PROMOTING the shows will help draw in spectators as they might be interested in seeing what the Fuss is all about

Rules need to be simple and have a clear line between people starting out and seasoned competitors.

Promoting for a show takes months of talking about it. Look at Autorama, Clearly the biggest show we have. Why, cause everyone is talking about that one show months before it happens. That kind of promotion needs to happen for every show.

I think we need to work harder with shop owners to be the media they need to get more people out at shows.

Radio ads seem to work, and hooking up with bigger car shows helps as well. If we get more people to watch at todays show, we can get more people to compete at the next show

Designing, building, and shipping boxes. Yahoo IM - kingsuv00If the listening level is too loud, please inform the driver, so he can promptly pull over, and let you out.

not many cars can get me to pluggin my ears but this one.......damn. I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more. Seems like it does it with relative ease....16 12's on 8 amps.........gotta love it. :)

do you want alot of shows?

Im really down to do this, and Do it right, but I want top hear from the competitors what they want

I have heard

2 min average, 1 min average, classes by cone area, must play music.

would you be interested in a class simular to the Bang for buck class?

what about having the spectators decide what songs people play?

if we do this lets do it right.

I have alot of ideas, and questions, but I want to hear your thoughts

I agree, rules must be simple.

I think we should have to have 2 main classes.

Beginner and Pro.

you could compete for 1yr in the beginner class, after that you must become a pro.?

Pro=seasoned competitors.

now do we break down the pro class, 14v vs 16v?

I agree we need to do the promoting not the shops, the internet is a very powerful tool, why not use it.

radio is huge but can be expensive, but for huge car shows no doubt it would be worth it.

would it be better to have a few shows a yr vs alot of shows, I like the idea of having a show at a show, like HIN, Lowrider shows, AutoRama type shows, if we do it this way it could draw huge crowds of spectators and possibly new competitors.

what about finals?

I'm down ill try it sounds fun

Not many 16 volt users I think that's a waste of a class

Pro and rookie class's I've never seen work one way to fix that is class by rated rms power a newb for the most part will not have over 3000watts

That's all I can think of for now

Have you ever had your woofers blown?
