This guy around my neighborhood has a wall with 4 15" memphis mojos and I am going with 4 RE XXX 12's and I wanted to know if I could beat him out with the 12's. I haven't heard the RE's in person as of yet. I'm in new york and they are not easy to find except for the web. It looks as if the 12's has more excursion than the 15's. someone told me that the bass on the 12's would be tighter than the 15's so what do you guys think about that? should I go 4 XXX 12's or 15's ?!

My F-150 Build GET ON THE BANDWAGON what if they tried messing with the amps when the subs werent louder hahah jk

Decaf Posted July 28, 2008 Report Posted July 28, 2008 excursion isnt as important as u think if you play a 20hz tone.... id bet ud beat almost anyone in excursion.... o yeah and ~2500w to do it lol 18s personally sound great and are not lacking in upper bass nor are they inaccurate... put that in the car audio myth file 18's are the most efficient.... and if you have the choice and money isnt an issue... duh 15's
