Ray
The range is a half mile in each direction... that is where they come up with the one mile. It is a great unit, I put them on weekly and never have troubles with them.*edit* now that i read on there website that might not be right on the range, but i could have sworn a rep told me that before. Actually it is 1 mile from the car to the transceiver or remote, 1/2 mile from the remote to the car. FM both ways, alot of cheap alarms are fm from the car to you but am from the remote back to the car Quote 2008 California state record holder 157.2 Bassrace2009 California state record holder 157.0 BassraceRollin 50's 158.7db2009 King of Cali Bassrace2009 USACi score 160.5 @ 42hz

I know how that goes. You could check out the prestige 996, i've done a few of them and they aren't bad either. They should be alot cheaper than any of the directed products. It's not just if it's bought from an authorized dealer, it also has to be installed by them... Five year if installed and purchased from an authorized dealer. What I got from the post is he was going to buy it offline, which voids any warranty.
