What Makes A Car Loud On The Outside?

I was told that when you use deadening material you actually gain dbs. So how do you gain db if you become quieter on the inside?

I heard you can loose them or gain them..

Unless you're doing MECA driveby, there is no reason to want to be loud on the outside.

Really? I care more about being louder then on the outside then on the inside. I like it when people hear me and I want to be heard. I don't give a fuck if it's really loud on the inside. I know a lot of people like me care about how how loud they are from the outside too.

Not quite. . .an example of an oxymoron is saying something like the "living dead." All I am saying is I care how I sound from the outside more then the inside. :clapping::clapping::clapping:

Ummm why? I would rather it be balls to the wall loud inside and not even audible outside.....loud outside = "Hey look I have a stereo come steal my car when I'm not around"

I don't see the point of being loud as hell on the inside when no one even knows your beating from the outside...that's rediculous. If you're smart about it, you can be balls to the wall loud on the outside and not get your shit stolen.

So you build your car audio system for other ears not your own?
