MTX J30 Posted August 18, 2008 Report Posted August 18, 2008 i found two subs on ebay both made by quantum audio. one is 12" and one is 15". they both have the same rms. is it ok to mix it up and get both or should i get two subs that are the same size. i have one more question is it ok to mix sub woofers if they have different rms. Jextel Posted August 18, 2008 Report Posted August 18, 2008 ..lol no at yestadays show there was a guy with a expo..2 JL 15's and 2 12 Diamonds..both in a sealed box both on some kind of audiobahn amps..he did a 138.8 on the AC190.. i had 1 hdc3 12 and 2 hk401sx's(1 ohm ea) i did a 139.3(and my i ran out of time the sweep was to slow) in a trunk car it could have been his install but everyone on here will agree mixing subwoofer sizes is a no no mixing mids/highs size is a fine.. If you can get everything in the right place I would think it could turn out ok. Just make sure to not put everything in the same box or on the same power, keep it all independent. Quote

Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy.
