the only thing that is inaccurate is it doesnt account for sub displ.....

so to counteract this feature.... shrink either width depth or height until the net volume at bottom reflects the total sub displacment.... this will tell you what the actually tuning is... then adjust accordingly

ok well i appreciate it. cause im comin up with a lil over 8 cubes but i see all these other systems in s10s and sonomas and it doesnt seem like it would be the actual size compared to there boxes if that makes any sense

That's what I do and it seems to work out fine.

i appreciate it but im not gonna build the box yet i dont even have the subs yet but i no im wanting to go with a wedge design for 2 15s but im planning on baggin my truck first. im just tryin to see if ive got enough room for the subs i wanna get

look at the manual and it will say sub disp or something similar. It should be in cubic feet or a similar measurement. Multiply that # by the amount of woofer and plug that in for example ...... you have 2 subs that displace .071 cu ft. You need a 3 cu ft sealed box(for simple math). Take 3 and .142 (.071x2) and build your box that big.
