roscoe1129
I wouldnt trust it. I think sundown has one you can try. I dont know how acurate it is tho. Decaf
the only thing that is inaccurate is it doesnt account for sub displ..... so to counteract this feature.... shrink either width depth or height until the net volume at bottom reflects the total sub displacment.... this will tell you what the actually tuning is... then adjust accordingly
FIuaNoma
ok well i appreciate it. cause im comin up with a lil over 8 cubes but i see all these other systems in s10s and sonomas and it doesnt seem like it would be the actual size compared to there boxes if that makes any sense

Hugh G. Rection
i have never had any problems as long as i account for sub displacement while im designing. Quote Owner of BigAss Ports
Guest
how do you count in sub displacement when you make a box?
usmc7980
look at the manual and it will say sub disp or something similar. It should be in cubic feet or a similar measurement. Multiply that # by the amount of woofer and plug that in for example ...... you have 2 subs that displace .071 cu ft. You need a 3 cu ft sealed box(for simple math). Take 3 and .142 (.071x2) and build your box that big.
