yeah I hope so, I like it, its easy to use, Id love some gas but it really doesnt matter much, the welds will never be seen.

not quite sure, before I redid the floor, I had a 25 cubic foot square with no wood. now Im guesstimating around 32 cubes no wood maybe a little bit more (hoping for more)

How did I miss this build? I just read through 18 pages of work, and I have to say amazing job. I've been wanting to learn to weld, but that just looks flat out tedious with as much as you are doing! This things going to be a tank when you're done- great work, I can't wait to see more!

Dude I was thinking about the comments by spl2k....

ur current design looks just like FRANKIES Lexus...and he's pretty G-damn loud...nearly 160 on music.

I'd say w/ ur reinforcement measures (just dont skimp on the windshield-he's always blowin his out and losing db's in the process) it sould be a solid 160.

We all know you got the solid build+High power setup knowledge base, it's just a matter of time and executing it.

I have faith in this one-A setup Like Frankies, w/ 6-solid 15's, and a lotta bracing and power could surely pull it off.

Good luck man.

The step down is a good idea for a lil extra air...maybe flare "out" whereever you can along the sides too?

Yeah, Frankie went with his clam for a while, then went to a flatwall. With 6 15s in a flat wall he was doin a 158 in Bassrace, but that box was built to play loud for 30 seconds at about 50hz. His clamshell was built to play lowwwwww and loud.

I dont see 160s on music happening in that car, but with a GREAT box, its doable.... Just need another car most likely.

160 wont happen right away, I know this, its gonna take some serious work, but I had to set a goal, and If Iam going to go through all this work and expense, I will do everything in my power to achieve my goal.

the sides will flare out to the b pillar and curve up with the car's naturual curve to the roofline, maximizing airspace I hope.

I had allready been looking at clamshells before I had seen frankie's car, his car just re-inforced my ideas, Randy had his clamshell SLAPPPING in the mid 50's @ unreal low frequencies for a minute now and I was hoping to copy that in a astrovan before I relized the van had a bent frame and was useless to me.

I think that if I really want to touch 160 on music, I may have to build the interior like the real extreme vehicles do, if so then so be it, it will... one day play music in the 160's
