Torres Posted August 29, 2008 Report Posted August 29, 2008 (edited) hahahah yeah i feel you on the cops. i was driving perfect one night on the way home. cruise control set, just cruising down the highway, cop gets behind me, i'm like shit. but i'm good still. he gets next to me, i turn right onto my street, then i look and see the cop behind me. i'm like SHIT! so i'm going and going then he pulls me over. had to walk the line, had to count from like...49 to 10 backwards, had to say the alphabet starting from D, and i had to stand on one leg. might have had to touch my nose too but i forget. out there forever. then he ticketed me for a damn suspended license that got suspended maybe 24 hours before he pulled me over. yeah...thanks...i was about 60 seconds from my house too Edited August 29, 2008 by ExpoSport Quote

I have gotten a ticket for the same thing and actually looked up the law. if you are in the intersection at all when the light is red you are in the wrong. not saying he couldn't have been cooler and given you a warning or something, but it is what it is. if he was following you from the minutes you got on the street you shouldn't have dont that. Sorry for playing devil's advocate, but if you gave him absolutely no reason to pull you over you wouldn't have been pulled over.
