basshead
Steve, I don't think it looks bad at all. As usual, your enclosure build is solid, clean and professional. I would say post flex vidz when you're done but I don't think chicken (or anyone) wants a house that flexes. LOL Good work man. Keep the pics coming. my shit dont flex it jus rattles every once in a while a pic falls off the wall or something falls off my end tables but for the most part its all good i would post pics but all my stuff is in storage due to a lack of room in my house it was either room for storing car audio or room for my home audio and i was like FUCK home audio LOL

meade916
May have been asked before, but what kind of saw do you use for the enclosures? Table, or circular? just my good ol worm-driven circular with a NICE Diablo blade on it. For long cuts i usually nail a guide, say like a straight 2x3, next to my actual line and run the saw against it. I can split my line in two doing this.....no squigglys here Quote All SMD products + MORE available at my store here! https://wccaraudio.com/ Subscribe to My Youtube Channel! meade916
4-15's in the EXT...18's in the Lade...and four more 15's in the house. Chicken sounds like my kinda guy. I pray I can "play" at that level some day. I have 2 Kicker 12's in my house getting 120w rms each and THATs pretty loud for an HT setup...but my place is tiny...so it makes sense:I'm sure Chickens house is ganksta big thus so should be his HT setup. BTW Steve-Did you design those ported boxes using BassBox pro or other software? I only ask cuz I'm curious to try out the "HOME" environment setting on BBp and see if it works like it says it does to compensate for the acoustic gains/troubles of a larger area. I know boxes I've built for home audio/car cabins DON'T perform the same in each others domain. ~2cents i use BBP to see how the box i designed will act and maybe adjust it a little. The design itself and the useage of 130" of port is all SMD though....i almost never do what that program "suggests". Also try and put the "HT" thing out of your mind for now....his HT setup is already tight. These are LOUDSPEAKERS and will be on a seperate channel for when its time to rock out. They would probably work fine for HT but he dont need all that for movies.....like i said he wanted some "throttle" when its time to bump some beats so thats what im giving him. ;D Quote All SMD products + MORE available at my store here! https://wccaraudio.com/ Subscribe to My Youtube Channel! meade916
Man, I love home audio, maybe more than Car audio, but holey shit, 4000+ watts in a house, and 15s tuned at 27hz? I garuntee he will be busting windows left and right. Home windows have Nothing on car windows, they tend to just shatter in place, and fall right out the window sill. Better hope he replaces his windows in his WHOLE house with Plexi anti shatter, shock resistant panels. well ya know he dont have no ghetto ass single-pane windows. If one breaks though, that would be COOL! Quote All SMD products + MORE available at my store here! https://wccaraudio.com/ Subscribe to My Youtube Channel! Over 1,000,000 subscribers strong!
