stratusrt01
Steve, I've got a question for you about the 360.2 I'm looking at changing my setup around, and I've picked up another 4 channel amp, so I have 75x8 to work with for my mids and highs. I want to run 8 speakers total, and want to go active like you did. I noticed you ran 2 of them, and I was wondering if I can run full active with a single 350.2, or will I need to buy 2 of them also.

You may need to use the "front" for tweets and dedicate an amp to just those and set it to say 2500 and up on the 3sixty. Next use the "rear" for midrange / midbass and set the 3sixty to bandpass from like 85hz to 3500......send that to the 4 channel. Once on the 4 channel use the "2 channel" input so they all 4 see the same signal IN. Then on the way OUT of the 4 channel, use the "front" for midrange "rear" for midbass and set the crossovers accordingly on tha amp itself. Use the 3sixty to fine tune everything. Right now on mine i have 3sixty.2 #1 - Subs 85hz - down (sub channel) Midbass 85hz - 1000 hz (rear channel) Midrange 150 - 3500 (front channel) (center channel not used) 3sixty.2 #2 - Front 2500hz - up (tweeters) (rear, sub, center not used and available whenever im ready to add more stuff) It might be slightly different then what i posted not to long ago but i just tuned my system again last nite and these are all current settings. Im not even sure im totally doing it right but im learning and its paying off. My system is sounding real nice lately! emperorjj1
meade i have one quick question about your setup... do you still have a true 4channel "control" im not sure how the 360 is just yet but i got a good idea with ur pics and reading up on the rf site. anyway im thinking about trying the ultimate challenge of 5.1 dts competitions but for that i would need true 5.1 so i was thinkign about running 4 comp sets off of the 801x (bandpassed) then with a 201s running the x1t tweets and maybe the front comp tweets as well but id have to figure out the ohms and stuff... um the 801s running the 8in hx2 then the 12" subs running off there own amp. the only problem i forsee with this so far is limited control of the 8in through the 360 processor (although with 31 bands it shouldnt be that hard) and i would have to continue to use the crosses for the tweets ran of the 801x but i would have 5.1 Quote J. If you put 5 channels in plus bass and you get 5 channels plus bass out, i dont see how 5.1 wouldnt work. Now im not using mine that way, i dont have center channels hooked up. I am doing a 4 way active setup like described above not 5.1. Quote All SMD products + MORE available at my store here! https://wccaraudio.com/ Subscribe to My Youtube Channel!
