JeepSpl
i would vote for the RE over the kickers...but the kickers have higher power handling. so i might take them over the RE's in this case I agree RE might be more dependable But either one is a good Buget sub. Just depends on how much Power you are going to have available. You can get both loud with the right Box/Amp Combo. I ran 2 15" Cvrs off of my Sundown 1500 and they did alright. The install is 90% of it IMO. Good Luck Quote 1 15" Nighthade Sundown 1500D 3.4cubes @

How are you gonna run em sealed or ported? If i'm feelin froggy they're gonna be ported, but I'll probably run them sealed due to the small ass trunk its going in and the fact that i've never done a ported box and im kinda afraid I don't have the skill. I'm thinking of doing sealed, then later down the road flipping the box into the backseat and making a wall i dk though only time will tell. this is my first vehicle with back seats, and I REALLY enjoy them so far lol either way the box is going to be a bitch i'm going to remove the trim panels from the back build the box in the car and slide it into the trunk then replace the trim panels. as for an amp I'm thinking the rf 1500 because of its size and I hear it runs really cool and doesn't suck up much juice and of course its rockford fosgate so its good, but i'm also looking at the sundown 1500 its a sexy ass amp lol Edited September 11, 2008 by BassJunkie Quote 1986 C20 Suburban 9 American Bass XFL 15's B2 M1MKII 14v XS Power Batteries Maxwell Caps Acoustical energy is free. imfrom210texas
I take CVR's. They have a Sens. DB level of 89.1, as opposed to the RE sub(87.6). Doesn't that have to do with the "loudness" of a sub? Higher being louder when powered with the same wattage. If I'm wrong, somebody kick some knowledge. Also the CVR's r 500 RMS, as opposed to the 300 of the RE sub. Even if you don't fully power now, you can just buy stronger amp(s) later, instead of replacing both the subs/amp as you would IF you wanted to upgrade from the RE's. Was thinking 4 6x9 in 4 cube at like 30 hz... These are the things that make me lol

I herd somethen similar to this, like every 3 db it goes up it takes half the power to get the same output. I dont know if this is true but i think it is. someone please correct me?
