Mosin Posted September 12, 2008 Report Posted September 12, 2008 Sorry if a re-post I know its a little early to ask this, but when its cold outside do you need to let your woofers/amps 'warm-up' before playing them? I'm talking about like -15F. Derp.
loganberry Posted September 12, 2008 Report Posted September 12, 2008 when i go to washington and stuff it gets down around 10 degrees (never -15) and they always hit harder cold i never let them warm up My F-150 Build GET ON THE BANDWAGON what if they tried messing with the amps when the subs werent louder hahah jk
Aaron813 Posted September 12, 2008 Report Posted September 12, 2008 To be honest I never drive my car or Tahoe in the winter time just my trucks so I dont really know. I would however let them warm up
Mosin Posted September 12, 2008 Author Report Posted September 12, 2008 Anyone know of a good style to let them warm-up? Like playing a low frequency tone at a low volume right quick? Being that cold outside, things tend to break alot easier. Derp.
Btrash Posted September 12, 2008 Report Posted September 12, 2008 just keep your volume down for a minute or two so the coils can heat up gradually. Going full blast on cold brittle coils is not the best idea.
