Proper Way To Install The "stinger" Voltage Gauge?

I remember back 1-2 months ago someone asked this exact same question, and now I cant find that post. I just ordered the Stinger digital voltage meter, and am looking for the BEST and most accurate way of installing this gauge. Can someone please point me in the right direction? Appreciate it........

I ran mine to the front battery

I got mines hooked up to the 2nd and 3rd batteries in the rear

I have mine hooked up by the sub amp so I would know the voltage going into the most powerful amp. Made sense to me at the time.

i believe on the old post roscoe said to do that, not sure tho..he said thats the most accurate place to put it (may be wrong on person who said it) i know that advice was given tho

I would like to know for sure aswell... I'll be getting one when I get my system together.

I monitor voltage up front through the OBD port, so I ran my stinger gauge to the rear battery.

yup I said and stick by it! either your rear battery bank or if you have just one sub amp to it!

Which is the sensor wire the red? the blue just a turn on?

yup + feed for the readout blue is just a remote lead and of course black duh - lol
